Gauresh Savardekar was born on 5th Nov. 1986 to Mr.Chandrashekhar Savardekar and Mrs. Kunda Savardekar in the city of Mapusa, Goa. In the heart of the city - Vasco-Da-Gama, he owned a 2BHK flat. He completed his schooling in St. Joseph's Institute, Vasco-Da-Gama, Goa and his Graduation in M.E.S College of Arts & Commerce, Zuarinagar. In his childhood he always liked to observe characters of various people that he wo
uld find around... This gave him the encouragement to imitate them and develop his mimicry skills. He began to nourish his mimicry skills at the mimicry classes held after the daily
classes on Saturdays by Mr. Dinesh Naik at St. Joseph's.
While he started mimicking the voices of Actors and Cartoon characters(Yago from Aladdin), he also began to gain interest for Singing. He thought of mimicking the voices of the famous Bollywood singers like Sonu Niigaam, Udit Narayan, Abhijeet Da & more..
In his teenage, he performed mimicry at school level which was based on the 5 Pandavas. But unfortunately Madam Bhima disqualified the act as it was against the Hindu Mythology. He got his first opportunity to perform a mimicry on stage in M.E.S. College of Arts & Commerce. In this show he imitated more than 10 Bollywood Singers, but again got disqualified for the time-limit constraint.
He entertained his friends at graduation and some of his friends become his die-hard fans. He was also recognized by some of his friends as 'Sonu Niigaam'. His parents also gave him a word of encouragement for participating in Singing shows held in neighborhood and also his mom's office(State Bank of India).
When he joined MCA at Gogte Institute of Technology, Belgaum., he sang his favorite track from the album Mausam(Bijuria). This was his golden opportunity to perform on the stage of GIT College for Silver Jubilee Celebration.
As he has an advantage of Sonu kinda voice, he has an ease to sing the Hits of Mohd. Rafi.
